Where is the sign that indicates the turn off for Bolinas?

A beached sailboat. Chandalar - Juneau, Alaska.
Over the course of a week the Chandalar was an unintended conceptual art/ performance/installation.
The boat owner wore different “costumes” each day & puttered & moved things around, seemingly accomplishing nothing.
We thought this U.S. Coast Guard vessel was there to help get the Chandalar back afloat. But no.
?
Passersby stopped, looked, snapped photos & chatted with the boat owner. He was not particularly coherent.
One afternoon he took a big bag out & gradually unfurled a sail from it. He climbed onto the boat & attached it to the mast.
All this was done with his left arm as he related that he had just redislocated his right elbow.
I wondered if he knew something we didn’t about an exceptionally high tide due in.
The sail was not for escape but had a message.
On the way to Bolinas along California Hwy 1 adjacent to the Bolinas Lagoon, a tidal estuary.
Club Mead in Heidron Meadery, Pt. Reyes Sta.
Our waitress at the Parkside Cafe, Stinson Beach, had suggested that we check out this meadery.
Something the Chandalar owner created & for what purpose?
