It’s challenging the way COVID 19 keeps impacting our lives, dramatically changing how we interact in the world.
Luckily the election results were very satisfactory & the weather has been good.
We certainly could use more rain.
Despite a most unusual Thanksgiving holiday we have been doing well.
I hope that you are all as well.
Cheers,
Marty

I recently noticed this circa 1976 sign, near our home. One of very few still surviving.

FREE?! The age group acquiring furniture now I guess wants IKEA vs. vintage oak.

I've seen several really good programs sponsored by the NY Transit Museum.

The Richmond San Rafael Bridge as seen from a walk along SF Bay in San Rafael.

The Old Spokes rode out to Toby's Feedbarn in Pt. Reyes Station.

One of many NY's Municipal Art Society's (MAS) wonderful programs. These two presenters were exceptionally good. They've made us want to go back for some more walks around NYC.

Ross, CA

A little bike ride to Sausalito.

Uh huh.

Same guy & wife have been living here for fifty years. He's about to finally upgrade the windows to keep the wind out.

Work continues on the Bon Air Bridge.

Wilson Hill Road. Seen when going to start of Old Spokes ride on Chileno Valley Road.

As I approached with a side view, I thought "Vintage Toyota or Datsun." Wrong. They just copied the design from Alfa Romeo.

From Blackie's Pasture, Tiburon.

MAS program on the history of the Queensboro (59th St. "Slow Down You Move Too Fast") Bridge.

Bike ride across Golden Gate Bridge to the SF Ferry Building.

Eerily deserted Fisherman's Wharf that ordinarily would be teaming with tourists. We would never have been able to ride our bikes on these wharves.

Just try leaving your bike unlocked in front of your house in Brooklyn.

I was playing bluegrass rhythms on the ukulele with these folks.

Ghilotti Bros. still working on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. reconstruction while we depart for an MG Owner's Club drive to Goat Rock State Beach just north of Bodega Bay. Photo by Megan Levin.

Turns out the driver/original owner of the orange 1973 MG B was Naomi's date for their JHS prom . Six degrees of separation.

The '72 MG B handles better than the '53 TD. I had trouble safely keeping up. The MG TD is known to fishtail if the driver is not attentive & careful!

A MAS tour of Modernist Buildings on Fifth Ave.

Fairfax, CA

First car of about 200 to arrive in Fairfax from the Breakfast Club Rally. It's "... a monthly North Bay car rally; mostly vintage, brand agnostic, 100% anti-snob."

We once had a Karmann Ghia.

Never before saw a Toyota like this one.

The MR 2, one of my all time favorite designs. Reminiscent of Starwars.

And the Jaguar XK 120...

One of our usual walks; Kent Avenue into Ross.

This house on Ross Common was in the F.F. Coppola's film "Jack", with Robin Williams.

That playhouse has almost the sq. footage of our house.

College of Marin campus.

And I was told the road from Five Corners down to Fairfax's Deerpark School was in "Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade." I bike down that all the time. I did go home to savor the sequence.

Old Spokes ride across the Golden Gate Bridge to Ft. Mason.

They're finally installing a suicide deterrant net on the Golden Gate Bridge.

Tableaux by Scott B.

Sharing the fire trail.

Another good read.

A happy turkey as we had beef ribs.

Those drill bits go in this yellow machine.

The white dot is where I grew up in Queens. It's Flushing not Jamaica.

Great place for a wedding. Marin Art & Garden Center.

On Ross Common. Expensive children's clothing but they all come with matching face masks.

Glad we weren't there when this slide occurred. Yes, & the conditions do keep changing.
