https://kwmf.org/. The only one amongst us who was aware of this memorial, c. August 2016, was George, who led us here. 89 y.o. Ralph, a former Old Spoke & Korean war vet. didn't know about it.
The view east from the recently completed Tunnel Tops, https://www.presidiotunneltops.gov/. "James Corner Field Operations, best known for New York’s High Line, worked with the community to develop the concept into a full design."
Looking west over the newly redone Doyle Drive.

As we approached Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, we noticed a promenade encircling the stadium, which we took..

Yay for Patagonia. Last week the company's owner, Ivon Chouinard, gave away ownership of the company he founded 49 years ago. The profits will now be used to fight climate change.
Right on Patagonia!! No very, very, rich person has done anything like this before. No tax advantage to Ivon nor his family.
To find out more about this remarkable, unprecedented, event read David Gelles’ New York Times story https://www.spokesman.com/stories/2022/sep/18/billionaire-no-more-patagonia-founder-gives-away-t/
