I heard about the Breakfast Club Rally a few months ago. https://www.breakfastclubrally.com/about I biked to one when the group ended in Fairfax. I was impressed by the turn out of interesting automobiles. Naomi & I went on the Breakfast Club Rally 01.01.2021: Not The Anti-Football Run https://photos.app.goo.gl/KTiVK7tQCydJervq8. We drove in the MINI roadster. I waited until another one was starting in Marin. The March 13th one was perfect, starting not too far from us in Terra Linda. This time I recruited a pal & motored in our MG TD.
Our 1953 MG TD, TeD, nestled between a Cobra & a DMC DeLorean. Nice.
Probably more cars in the Northgate parking lot than there have been at any time in the past year.
More British autos than the last time I was at a BCR. That's the Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite that was in the first photo. Naomi & I saw it later in the day when walking in Ross.
Don't miss reading the decal.
I hadn't seen one of these tiny Wolseleys since we were in England. Note the Chihuahua. It's sitting on a plaid blanket that matches the car's colour scheme.
My favorite of the show.
All aluminum.
One of my Old Spokes bicycle buddies once had one of these Lotus'. He still lusts after it.
Love the Woody's decals.
A guy zoomed around on that skateboard with GoPro & one in his hands.
Note the Cobra bypassing the "pumps."
Scott, my navigator/co-pilot. He hung on for dear life only a few times during the drive.
That's a four door Lincoln Continental convertible in front of us.
To our left, but not visible here, the Nicasio Reservoir of our Marin Municipal Water District is almost bone dry. Yikes. Soon we'll have drought water conservation restrictions again.
The lovely Caddy is turning towards Pt. Reyes Station. The BCR's first stop.
We were in the "Snail" group & the last to depart. The "Hares" might have zoomed out but we often caught up when they were stuck at the stop signs. Here we're turning right on Platform Bridge Road to Pt. Reyes Station. I often do these roads on a bicycle with the Old Spokes.
