Paul Riehard street panting.
“Richard is at once a street artist, beloved by New Yorkers for the self-portraits, skulls, and other subjects he renders lovingly in minutes on sidewalks by pouring black paint directly from the can, and a fine artist whose bigger-than-life oil portraits fetch mid-five figures.”

We've always enjoyed the sculpture exhibits on Park Ave.. Heather advised us about a current display of swimmers along Park. Instead we found this display. This & the other sculptures in the exhibit were very disappointing compared to the swimmers we had expected.

Tipi Bag
North or South Dakota, ca. 1890 Lakota/Teton Sioux Artist
“Tanned leather, glass beads, metal cones, horsehair, and dye. This bag was made during the early reservation period, after the U.S. government outlawed the Lakota's annual Sundance and instituted Fourth of July celebrations in its place. During this time, American flag interpretations became popular beadwork motifs recognizing a special occasion. Practical and beautiful, such bags were used to transport belongings and also ornamented the inside of lodges and tipis.”
A guard told us to turn right at Geo. Washington crossing the Delaware to find…
…a friend’s donated painting we were looking for here, between the horses front hooves & the bison’s head.
