I didn’t take this photograph but I wanted to include dentists in the blog. A shoulder stripe (purple) on the tunic denoted an instructor. The tall fellow in the middle (Harold Addelston) was instrumental in guiding my approach to pediatric dentistry & the instructor next to him (Joe Keller), inspired my use of photography in teaching. The female dental student was a rarity at this time & likely the only female in her class of about 170 or maybe the whole college.
