Bicycle Commute On Foot

For 37 years I commuted from Kentfield through Ross & San Anselmo, to my office in San Rafael, CA . I was lucky to have this commute.

I rarely took the time to stop & look closely at my surroundings.  Last week I walked from home to Insalatas in San Anselmo, tracing my bicycle commute.

This had been about the half way point in my bicycle ride.

Dutch elm disease affected many of the trees along Shady Lane.

The white house on the left was in the movie "Jack." One day I watched Coppola direct for a while. Then, I biked home along Shady Lane & for a bit, was joined by Robin Williams.
